Bibliophiles

The Bibliophiles meeting is the fourth Friday of the month at Barnes and Noble (there is only one) in Springfield Illinois, time running from 7:00 p.m.^ish to 8:30 p.m.^ish . However, meetings may continue until the bookstore closes, out into the parking lot, and beyond.

The months of November and December may have a different meeting schedule due to major holiday considerations. All meetings of Bibliophiles are announced in the calendar of The SangaMensan.

To identify the group, there will be a copy of The Sangamensan on a table in the café section of the bookstore.

It’s an informal meeting, quiet friendly conversations leading where they will. The number of people attending ranges from a few to several, but usually a small group. People may wander away from the table to look over books in the store. Sometimes the group will branch into multiple conversation areas. The meeting is much a coffee shop meeting.
